Now Is a Great Time to Make Your Home Healthy, Safe & More Efficient!
Make Changes During COVID-19 to Ensure a Healthy Future for You & Yours.
The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented, uncertain time that is keeping us at home for everyone’s safety. Many of us are working from home for the first time ever. Kids are being homeschooled. Archambault Construction would like to suggest some home remodeling ideas that will make your extended stay at home more pleasurable as well as healthier, safer, and more efficient overall.
Create or Improve an Office Space
You can be more productive with an office space to call your own. An office space that is separate from the children, noise, and goings on in the rest of your home. A place that is organized and constructed to be efficient and pleasant to work in and that is designed to fit your specific needs.
Design a Craft, Game, or Workout Room
Relax and enjoy your hobbies like sewing, quilting, puzzles, reading, painting, or whatever your favorite activity might be. Savor your quiet time with plenty of lighting and room to move around.
How about a home gym where you can exercise, meditate, or practice yoga? A refuge from the chaotic world we live in.
Construct an Area for the Kids to Work or Play
With homeschooling more common for the foreseeable future, it is important for the kids to have a place to call their own. A place to watch homeschooling videos and do their school work—working or studying at a desk is so much more productive than a sofa or bed, or a kitchen table with distracting noise and foot traffic. A place where schoolwork can be organized and handy on a shelf or in a drawer.
This will also be a place where kids can relax and play when their work is done—with lots of bins and shelving so toys can be quickly picked up and put away.
Don’t worry!
The extra precautions we are taking during COVID-19 are over and above what is required.
Sanitizer, wipes, gloves, and masks are provided for each employee and stocked in each vehicle.
Needed materials are delivered to minimize trips to suppliers and contact with additional people.
Furthermore, many home additions and remodels can take place from the outside with minimal or no personal contact at all.
